BIENVENIDOS A LO MACABRÓN DEL ROCK GÓTICO Y DERIVADOS JAJAJAJAJAJAJA, JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA, JAJAJAMUAJAJMUAJA.
La mayoría de los grupos que conforman este género musical provienen de Inglaterra, Irlanda y Estados unidos. Inglaterra colinda con irlanda y con holanda. El Rock Gótico es un estilo musical queinterpretan lo oscuro y lo dramático. Es difícil definir a alguna banda como rock gótico pues cada uno es peculiar y tiene sus propias formas de expresar su arte y éste género tiene muchos derivados que lo conforman entre si, como el gothic metal que se deriva del heavy metal y el rock gótico, por lo tanto considero al rock gótico como a una forma de generalizar a todos aquellos subgéneros que tienen un toque gótico.
La primera generación inició de 1979 a 1985 etre algunos gripos podemos mencionar a The sisters of mercy, otra era Bauhaus, que fué muy popular n los 80. The cure, que es una banda inglesa de rock fué unos de los más reconocidos pr sus interpretaciones y apariencia gótica.
La segunda generación fue de 1985 a 1995, en el Reino Unido éstas bandas entre otras comenzaron a popularizarse al igual que la subcultura que se había generado.
La tercera generación desde 1995 hasta hoy aparecieron nuevas bandas como los estadounidenses Switchblade Symphony, y London After Midnight. Hoy en día los fans de la primera era del gótico escuchan Death rock, pues han vuelto a los sonidos originales de la primera generación, éste se utilizó para describir un género de rock and roll donde los adolescentes cantarían sobre las muertes trágicas de sus novios, suicidios, enfermedades, etc.

El mundo gótico es un misterio lleno de imaginación, al que les recomiendo analizar, escuchar y sentir, es bastante original y te sugiero escuchar este tipo de música para aquellos momentos melancólicos , para relajarte o estudiar. por lo que te presento algunas lertras de los grupos que considero muy interesantes.

Haggard es una banda alemana que inició en los noventas; se constituye con toques clásicos , dum orquestal, voz gutural acompañado por hermosas voces femeninas que se mezclan con lo oscuro y gótico del metal. Se los recomiendo.
